From suspense to dark academia to dark romantasy, and even some sweet contemporary sprinkled in-between, I've never been able to settle in one sub-genre for too long. I’ve been in the self-publishing industry since 2018 and have been nestled into this pen name since 2021. With thirteen books under my belt and no plans of stopping, I’ve got quite a bit of experience learning what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t.

When my seventh book took off a bit and we started seeing five-figure months in sales, my husband lost his job as a test engineer in the automotive industry and we saw it as an opportunity to dive head-first into this wonderful little career.

I understand the particular brand of chaos that comes with being an indie author. The launch deadlines. The endless moving pieces. The ARC team. The ads. The KDP refreshing. The constant question of what needs your attention right now.

When we work together, you’re not having to explain the world of publishing before we can talk about your website. I already understand why your newsletter matters, why your books need to be easy to find, why your website needs to support your launches, and why you probably don't have six spare weekends to figure out Showit.

And as a mom of three, I know just how valuable those spare hours are.

Why design?

Just like with writing, I’ve always dabbled in design.

I took every graphic design and art class my high school offered. Then, I went on to make my own vinyl business on Etsy throughout college where I designed t-shirts, onesies, and one-of-a-kind gifts. It got a little too busy, and I had to close up shop so I could finish off my degree.

I finally got my big-girl job in the corporate world and quickly realized the cubicle life is not the life for me. That creative itch never went away. Writing, designing, creating... it became my lifeline in a career that I absolutely hated and I went back to my roots.

When I'm not writing or designing...

I’m a certified Adam Sandler mom of three little homeschooled monsters who take up all my free time (and most of my working time, too). You can find me driving around in my dream car (a minivan) or picking up some small mess of toys on my way to do something else. I’ve got two dogs: my nanny-boy Axle, who follows the kids around like they’re his own, and my goober-girl Stella. She’s usually off doing something she shouldn’t be.
