What website platform do you build on?
All of our websites are built on Showit, a gorgeous, flexible, drag-and-drop website platform made for creatives. Once we’re done, it’s yours to manage. If you’re brand new to Showit, don’t worry! Your site will come with a video guide to help show you around, and I'll point you in the right direction when it’s time to get your subscription set up.
Do I need a subscription to use this website?
You’ll need your own active Showit subscription for your website to live online. I’ll walk you through getting everything set up when we kick things off.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH COPY?
Absolutely. If staring at a blank page trying to write your bio or book descriptions makes you want to launch your laptop into the nearest lake, I've got you
I can help with your website copy, or if writing isn't my lane for what you need, I can point you toward a copywriter I trust.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! For template-based websites, 50% is due upfront, and the remaining 50% is due before your site launches.
For fully custom websites, we can split your investment into three payments, with 50% due upfront and the remaining balance split across the project.
do i absolutely need branding to start?
Yes. Your website needs something to build from, so having colors, fonts, logo, and overall visual direction that accurately represents your brand figured out before we start is important.
If you don't have branding yet, that's totally fine. You can add my mini branding package to your website project and we'll get your visual identity sorted before we start putting your site together so everything looks cohesive.
What do you need from me to get started?
Generally, you'll want to have things like:
- Your branding files (logos, colors, fonts, branding symbols, etc.)
- Your book covers, book information, and book links
- Your website copy, if you already have it
- Headshots and any other photos you'd like to use
- Links to your books, socials, newsletter, reader group, etc.
- Any freebies, lead magnets, or other resources you want featured
- Inspiration or mood boards
- Anything else you'd like your site to include
